Support
Email appservice.desk@yahoo.com and you will get a reply. Most questions are answered below first.
Writing in? Use Contact Support in the app's Settings rather than a fresh email — it fills in your app version, device and iOS version, which is usually the first thing anyone would have to ask you for.
Captions
Captions come back empty
Captions are written from speech in the clip's own audio. If the clip is silent, has only music, or the speech is faint under background noise, there is nothing to transcribe and the app will say so rather than inventing lines.
My language isn't listed
The app only lists languages whose speech model is downloaded on your device, because captions are made offline. Add one in Settings → General → Keyboard → Dictation — or, on some versions, Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri → Language — then reopen the Captions tool.
Fixing a line
Tap any caption in the list to edit it. Regenerating afterwards keeps the lines you edited by hand.
Cut Out (background removal)
Cut Out separates a person from what is behind them. It needs a real device — it cannot run in the iOS Simulator — and it needs a person to be visible in the frame; it will not cut out an object or a pet.
If the edge looks wrong, use the Edge slider: pull it left to cut away a halo of leftover background, right to bring back hair and shoulders.
Exporting
There's a watermark on my video
Exports on the free plan carry a small watermark and are capped at 720p. A subscription removes both. Nothing else about the export changes.
The export failed or the file looks wrong
Free up some storage and try again — a long 4K export needs room to write the file. If it keeps failing, email us with the project length, the resolution you chose, and your device model.
Where do exports go?
Saved videos go to your Photos library, into an album named Video Editor.
Subscriptions
I paid but Pro isn't unlocked
Open Settings → Restore Purchases in the app. Restoring re-reads your entitlement from Apple. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with — a subscription belongs to the account that paid for it, not to the device.
Changing or cancelling
Use Manage Subscription in the app's Settings, or go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds
Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too: reportaproblem.apple.com. The developer cannot issue one.
Family Sharing
If a subscription was shared with you, it is managed by whoever bought it, and changing the plan has to be done from their device.
Projects and storage
The app is taking up a lot of space
Settings → Free Up Space removes imported media that no project uses any more. Your projects are untouched.
Are my projects backed up?
Projects live on the device, in the app's own storage. They are included in an iCloud or computer backup of the device, but they do not sync between devices. Export anything you cannot afford to lose.
Still stuck
Email appservice.desk@yahoo.com. Tell us what you were doing, what happened, and what you expected instead — with your app version and device, a reply usually comes the same day.
